Primary airport, 3 miles from downtown. Direct flights from DEN, ORD, LAX, DFW, SFO, JFK, MIA, ATL during ski season (UA, AA, DL). NOTORIOUSLY weather-sensitive — cancellations and diversions common in storms. Diverted flights go to DEN (4-hr drive). Book flexible tickets.
Ground Transport
RECOMMENDED — NO CAR NEEDED IN ASPEN. Free RFTA bus from ASE to downtown Aspen. Rubey Park transit hub connects to all four mountains via free shuttles. Aligned with flight arrivals. Downtowner free on-demand ride 8am–11pm.
