Primary airport. Closest I-70 resort to Denver. I-70 West to Exit 203 (Frisco), then Hwy 9 South. Alt route via US-285 through Fairplay avoids I-70 but crosses Hoosier Pass (11,541 ft). Storm conditions 2.5–5hrs. Sunday eastbound return traffic is legendary.
Ground Transport
RECOMMENDED. $25 roundtrip Denver Union Station to Breckenridge. Sat/Sun/holiday Mon, Dec–May. From DEN: RTD A-Line to Union Station (~37 min, ~$10.50), then Snowstang. Total DEN→slopes ~3hrs. Breck Free Ride bus to base (5 min).
$50–$130/day for SUV. Colorado Traction Law. Paid parking in town $5–$25/day. Free parking at outlying lots (Watson, Airport Rd) with free Breck Free Ride shuttle. AWD/4WD essential.
Shared shuttle $75–$110 one way from DEN.
$120–$250 from DEN.
